My mind raced. What is he saying?

He loves puns and clever-speak, so I'm often not sure.

I've learned to wait it out.

He repeated it again and expounded.

Bottom line: He could hear dollar bills rustle.

Thank you, new state-of-the-art hearing devices.

He delights in describing what he hasn't heard in years.

And I'm freshly appreciating the gift of sound.
